Serial Terminal Configuration
Connect the Serial to USB converter USB Type A cable into PC
Open the Teraterm utility and configure the baud rate as 9600-8-N-1

Goto Setup ->Terminal
Enable the Local Echo and CR+LF

WiFi Module Configuration
UHF WIFI Reader – Press the Configuration SW and connect the micro USB cable
Type “help”
List of commands shall be displayed as below,

- Set Device ID
- deviceid set “device ID/Name”
- Set WIFI SSID
- ssid set “Wifi Router Name”
- Set password
- pass set “Wifi password”
- Set Host/Server IP address
- host set “192.168.1.xxx”
- Set Port number
- port set “4120”
- Set device IP address // dynamically assigned by the router
- Ipaddr set “0.0.0.0”
- Set Subnet mask
- subnet set “255.255.255.0”
- Set Gateway IP address
- gateway set “192.168.1.1”
- Set DNS mask
- dns set “8.8.8.8”
Note:
Device IP address will be dynamically assigned by the Wifi router during normal operating mode.
Example configuration

After successful configuration, remove the micro USB cable and connect again
The configuration parameters will be displayed on the terminal window and device enters into “operational mode”
Now the device checking the network connection and dynamic IP address will be assigned.

Socket Test method
Download the “SocketTest” utility software from the below link,
Install the exe file and if required install Java support files..
Open the Socket Test v 3.0.0
Goto Udp tab -> Configure the Server IP address and port number as per UHF reader configuration
